Sands Beach is a stretch of beach located at the end of Isla Vista. "Sands", as the locals call it, offers beachgoers a great surf spot and ample space for recreation. On sunny days, you can find many students hanging out at this beach playing games, lounging in the sun, or surfing. This is also a popular spot for many Isla Vista residents to go on runs along the ocean bluffs or simply to enjoy the scenery. The beach gives off a relaxed, peaceful vibe and is a good place to escape to when feeling stressed out or to hang out with friends. For a great expereice: go at sunset to view the golden sun and pastel colors over the Pacific Ocean, and maybe bring a friend or two to share it with.
